“Weaving living waste" explora el ciclo de vida de los materiales y el potencial artístico de los biorresiduos agrícolas. A través de talleres participativos, hemos transformado paja de arroz y otros biomateriales locales en obras únicas para integrarse en la pieza escénica MOLD/UNMOLD. Esta iniciativa reflexiona sobre la memoria material, interrogando cómo los objetos conservan la huella de su uso anterior y transmiten experiencias.
"Weaving living waste" amplía esta idea, incorporando la miceliación (a cargo de Manel Bafaluy) de algunos objetos para su integración en la escenografía de MOLD. Esta técnica innovadora explora soluciones para la gestión de residuos mediante la combinación de materiales orgánicos y micelio (el cuerpo vegetativo de los hongos).
El programa COMPOST para la la SALA 7 del Teatro Rialto quiere tender un puente entre tradición y contemporaneidad vinculando prácticas artísticas y artesanales, campos del pensamiento, ciencia y artes visuales, con las artes escénicas.
“Weaving living waste” explores the life cycle of materials and the artistic potential of agricultural bio-waste. Through participatory workshops, we have transformed rice straw and other local biomaterials into unique works to be integrated into the MOLD/UNMOLD performance piece. This initiative reflects on material memory, interrogating how objects retain the trace of their previous use and transmit experiences.
“Weaving living waste” extends this idea, incorporating the micellization (by Manel Bafaluy) of some objects for their integration into the MOLD scenography. This innovative technique explores solutions for waste management by combining organic materials and mycelium (the vegetative body of fungi).
The COMPOST program for the Rialto Theater's ROOM 7 aims to bridge tradition and contemporaneity by linking artistic and craft practices, fields of thought, science and visual arts, with the performing arts.
